I'm not a fan of Sun in general. in fact, I hated the first 15 hours.

But it took me 22 hours to beat the elite 4, and by the time I'd wrapped up all the postgame stuff I was at about 35. That's no exactly 'no postgame', is it?

Honestly, having gone through that postgame stuff I like the game a lot more now than I did before.

sun and moon isn't even released yet that 88 will go down by at least a point. anyway i think it would be nice if the games had some replay value so that the whole region doesn't feel like an empty edamame pod once you finish the main storyline. face it - catching pokemon is boring and the battle facilities while fun don't encourage you to explore the region, which imo is the funnest part of pokemon games (not including online battling). they should just make the regular trainers have their encounter triggers reset and be much higher level with better ai. They won't do that and i'm not just going to buy the game for the story.

The main story of these games is always faceroll easy.

Breeding, EV training, and a huge chunk of the other content in the game is completely unnecessary for the single player unless there's some sort of more difficult post game facility.

They would be useful for online battles, but fights against randoms are usually just facing the same cookie - cutter team over and over forever, so why bother?
