Probably midnight Japan time. Just google what time it is in Japan right now and figure out how many hour difference it is from you. I got my preloaded sun on my Japanese 3ds all ready to go when it drops.

Thanks! I'm excited for this. I really liked the hunts for pokemon, like Goomy in rain, Gabite in sandstorms and Castform on weathers. And the overworld mechanics as well as certain patches of grass having different pokemon.
