i think they're better designs than most or maybe all of the other legendary trios and comparable legendaries.

Tapu koko and Lele are great. Fini and bulu don't appeal to me as much. Their totem forms look more like a door unlike unlike koko and Lele.

I like all of them actually, favourites being Dolphin and Bull. Lightningdude is the worst imo

Design, is it?

Overall, their design is quite well done. They have that tribal-like feeling to them, what with the markings and the wooden (maybe) totem.
Unlike most legendaries, which feels like they can exist anywhere regardless of region, the Tapus look like they belong to Alola. That they can claim Alola as theirs. Which in turns make their existence more "Alolan legends" than just "a legend".

Now, if we're talking one by one, that'd be:

The former gives that "cool guy" vibe and the latter the "mature lady".

The "genki girl".
>Bulu
The "macho man", which unfortunately is not a favorite character archetype of mine.

I don't see how Koko is in any way Garish, the colour is rather mellow actually. As for the Mohawk and hands, how else would they make him look like a rooster's head when closed? Personally I think it's rather clever what they did there. I don't see how Koko is cluttered with the white markings, they don't really interrupt the flow of the design. Also Koko is a hothead.

Fini is beautiful and a really cool design. I like merfolk and sirens a lot though.

Personally I like them. They look very unique and manage to be very different from one another while still having a matching aesthetic. Toss in the fact that I think Tiki's are pretty fucking cool looking in the first place and I'm totally down with them. I'm thinking I'll use Koko for my Moon run just for shits and giggles.

I'm really quite pleased with their appearance. We saw Tapu Koko first and it was aight. Then they revealed the others and it was nice to see the designs of the other 3 were better imo. It was a nice surprise.

I'm slightly disappointed though that they don't stack together to make a totem pole... Little let down, but whatever.
