Let's not forget how Greninja got it's own form change all to itself that not even the other Kalos starters who should be treated as equals got. They did all that shit with Lucario in XY because the want a Pokemon to be the face of Mega Evolution and introduce it to the player. Greninja is now blurring the lines between the anime and game universe and getting it's own demos. Also unlike Mega Lucario who was a gift Pokemon in the middle of the game Greninja is a gift Pokemon right from the beginning of the game. Clearly the most forced Pokemon of all time now.
