Spirit shackles effects will still be on even after Decidueye faints according to leaks.
So maybe OU?

If you are just another "Decidueye for OU/Ubers/AG" shitposter fuck you for getting my hopes up. The mere possibility of this being true is exciting, and I did see a post a week ago alleging that Spirit Shackle has a different move effect value than Thousand Waves. It could be possible since the move stitches the opponent's shadow to the battlefield, which is different from a Mean Look or the use of Zygarde Cells or an Anchor Shot. It is theoretically possible, and it would be a major game changer.
I like Decidueye too much to blindly believe this claim without evidence.

I'm pretty sure I read someone post that it wore off after Decidueye left the battlefield in one of the Smogon threads.
>>29942893
And there come the anti-decidueyefag with a retarded claim and no evidence.

can you please calm down thank you

>"I believe Smogon confirmed that this move works like every other trapping ability or move in the game. The burden of proof is on you."
VS.
>"This exceptional and incredible thing is true! If you don't believe me you're an asshole!"
Nothing else to say on this?

It's honestly more likely that Smogon lied about it because they have a vendetta against Decidueye.

Smogon threads have actually been pretty mixed on Decidueye and mostly optimistic about its versatility, even if it won't be a high tier threat. Here everyone just says it's outclassed by Dhelmise, which is oversimplified and not entirely correct due to healing, speed, movepool, and special bulk.
I would love to believe you about Spirit Shackle having a unique and great effect, but I don't buy it presently.
I can't find any mention of this anywhere else, so I'm going to assume it's fake untill sources are provided.
This could be huge if true though.

You are an actual, full-blown autist.
