Anyone here used Z Stones during the single player? I didn't because they didn't seem all that good. I just used Sharp Beaks and Soft Sands.
I did a couple of times. Though overall I think you're better off with a spell tag
Nah, I only used the one for my starter to see what the move looked like.

As a panic button.
They're pretty overkill but neat, and having one on pelliper saved my ass.

Basically this. Happened more than I liked.

Yeah I used them when I wanted to guarantee kills or do huge damage, like against some totem mons or during important battles.
Yes because why not. Handy to end a short battle without taking damage yourself.
Also if my Hariyama is managing to absorb a few hits then I'll use Z Belly Drum to hopefully smack everyone's shit and get a free heal on lower health.
I'm not planning on using any.
I just don't see the point. Everything in Pokemon dies in one or two hits anyway. What's the point of such an over-powered attack? It's just overkill.
Maybe they'll see their uses in competitive, but in terms of the single player, I have never ever once thought I needed a "super move" to take out a Pokemon.

>handy to end a short battle
Except the animations are like 10 times longer than a normal attack.
You could probably finish two turns in the time it takes for an entire Z move to play out.

Maybe read the rest of the sentence

I threw them on everything just for kicks
Saved my ass a couple times but I probably would've been better off just using better items to not be in those situations anyway. Oh well.

I plan to use them only when i know i'll kill the enemy in one shot anyway, or to end an "epic" battle, if you know what i mean.
