It gets no Steel STAB but Rocky Helmet + Iron Barbs + Spiky Shield is cancerous. Overall it's not a complete shitmon imo, may be best suited for Doubles since it gets Fake Out.

I like steel types.

This gen I got two steel legendaries, and two steel ultra beasts. Also, two steel Alola forms.

And then there's Togedemaru.

Honestly, I would have used it if was available earlier in the game. I'll probably breed one for my eventual Sun playthrough, maybe.

Used one on my team with Spike Shield, Nuzzle, Zing Zap, and Fell Stinger, and it did not disappoint, especially with that +3 attack boost.
