Champ is, idk, Hau or Gladion with the other joinging the league in another way.

Lillie returns from Kanto more focused and a serious trainer.

Necrozma is a threat to the region. The player and Lillie must bring both Lunala and Solgaleo to combat Necrozma and the UBs it controls. Aether or Skull comes back and they are central antagonists.

No merging bullshit. Keep that in Digimon, please.

Post game can have mini segments with Marshadow, Magearna, more Looker, and some new Battle Tree stuff.

Simple enough and still rooted in Alola.

due to aether's fucking around with alternate dimension's a large rift opens up and ultra beasts pour out and take over the game. pokemon and people in general dont know how to deal with them and are forced into protective cities where they are systematically overrun

your the leader of the last bastion of your dimension in the strongest walled city in the world, but after weeks of siege and whittling away of morale in you comrades when a breach in the wall occurs resistance is minimal

everyone dies, the last part of the game is you fighting neverending waves of UB

I personally think this is how a sequel plot will go but I don't think Aether and Skull will be the antagonists again. Aether becomes reformed under Wicke's supervision and Skull is disbanded, though the former grunts still like to wear their outfits.

I think we'll actually get a new evil team, say one that was hiding in the shadows, using Aether to conduct their own studies on Ultra Beasts.

Another RBY remake except you play as Lillie fresh to the Kanto region learning to become a pokemon trainer.
