Heads up for all the Vikavolt fags, you can only evolve it near the end of the game because Gamefreak is fuxking retarded.

Had to replan my whole team after learning this. Low speed is forgivable but being stuck in its second stage almost all game elevates it to shitmon status status

Tsareena: 10/10; fast, insane attack, great moveset, fucking Trop Kick
Mudsdale: 9/10; slow, but amazing ability, strong attack and defense, good coverage, earthquake, not very many water mons around
Golisopod: 1/10; crazy slow, worst and most annoying ability ever, weaknesses out the asshole, gets owned by everything and runs away at the first sign of trouble. massive disappointment.
Incineroar: 6/10; slow, crap movepool other than Darkest Lariat, too many weakness, good Z-move. disappointing for a starter.

well, i haven't looked at the base stats and kommo-o was my lowest levelled mon, but it was outsped by everything the e4 had at the same level and Tsareena was by far my fastest mon. my only fast mon, actually.

possibly just unlucky with IVs, and the fact that Tsareena had a game's worth of EVs backing her up that Kommo-o didn't. but that's how it played out for me.

Crabrawler is one of the few Pokemon that are locked out of their final evos until late in the game.
If you're cool with that then go for it. On the other hand, Stufful evolves at 27 into Bewear which has higher stats in all areas (except sp. attack), similar weaknesses, and a better ability.

Just a general statement, I think people are going to jam and be really let down by Golisopod. It's not going to OHKO much with its priority and emergency exit'ing below 50% is pretty damn annoying. It also just straight up flees if you're fighting wild pokemon which is definitely going to cause some rage.

Assuming you are attempting to use only Gen 7 Pokemon, Bruxish, Primarina, Wishiwashi, or the Waterspider are all pretty solid replacements for Greninja. I think Toucannon and Bewear are fine, the normal overlap doesn't really matter that much.

No shame for using Greninja but IMO it will definitely feel like you'll have to hold yourself back from just using it nonstop.

Thanks for rating. It doesn't surprise me too much that flying will be a pain. I know I'll be using Charjabug for most of the game so the plan is to stick an eviolite on it ASAP and keep it defensive. I'll probably use Toucannon's rock-type moves to take out some of the flying types.

I also used the Blaziken and hated it. Pallosand would probably be a good sub for Mimikyu but I hear it evolves late which might be annoying.

I didn't look up anything about the game pre-spoiler dump, so I had no idea what Salandit's deal was, and now I'm rocking a level 65 Salandit since I've invested too much already.

He worked okay with Comfey on teams, back when I was using Flame Burst.

One of the most surprising and critical members of my team, actually.

It's basically a support fairy with access to grass moves. I rock Dazzling Gleam on it for doubles and use Doom Bloom against bulky Water types.

People are calling it a poor man's Florges, but it's STUPID FAST, somehow the fastest member of my team all Alolan team, and it's ability gives priority on healing moves. It's pretty interesting.

Arcanine gets a move that removes its fire typing after use, so you can use it as an effectively typeless tank now. Minior starts defensive so you can buff up, then switches to its other form where it has 120 base speed and 100 in both attacking stats, along with a small yet respectable movepool.
