Pidgeot costs you your mega to be good, and Pidgeot is real fun cause it gives away your mega pretty much no matter what cause of how low it is normally. As far as megas go it is a bit under the radar to even a lot of normal pokemon. Greninja for example out speeds it by one point. Swellow and Talonflame are faster than it as well.

No miss no draw back by itself hurricane off of 135 special attack is pretty sweet n all, but no guard is a double edge sword that makes it so stone edge and stuff never misses pidgeot as well. Pidgeot has no 2nd stab to work off its special besides stuff like uproar and hyper beam, its extra coverage is heat wave. Its pretty much walled by a lot of pokemon due to its coverage.

One thing that might work in Pidge's favour is the change to turn order and mega evolving. Now that it doesn't have to 'set up' to get its speed and be a threat, you can keep it in the back and clean up lategame with it (i.e. keep it as a wincon).

Specs Swellow w/ Boomburst has been its main set since early Gen VII anon. Now it's just 100% more viable. Plus, Swellow has a much bigger speed than Chatot, hence its able to run specs more effectively.

Since Swellow will probably rise to UU or BL2, Chatot might see some use in NU or PU.

Got nerfed but 1.3 -> 1.2 really isn't that bad at all. Pixelate Hyper Voice is still going to hit for a ton of damage. Talonflame being kill helps it a lot, and given that it's faster than most of the new Alolan Pokemon and doesn't get screwed by any of the new abilities (thanks to not relying on priority or anything like that), I'm certain it will still be pretty good.
