Playing Blue on the 3DS.
Blastoise, Victrebell, Jolteon, Sandslash, Hitmonlee and Fearow.
All around a good team, problem is the lack of psychic types but I never really liked any and this run is more about nostalgia. To this day I can still tell where some hidden items are and what Pokemon some Trainers are going to use, and I haven't played Blue in almost 20 years.

Just before the E4. With King's rock and Razor Claw being nigh-impossible to find before postgame, this ended up being my team. Ribombee pulled way more weight than I thought it would, having a 90BP STAB move as early as level 25 is no joke.

I've been playing a lot of Super Doubles in ORAS with my sister.
We both suck at IV breeding so our pokemon are average, we keep making it as far as 49 but haven't beaten the first thing.

Replaying Gale of Darkness, have to beat Robo Groudon for the first time. I don't have good counters for his Gyarados, Thrash KOs Breloom pretty fast, and Vulpix is too weak to deal a lot of damage to Sunflora.

This triggers me, becaust except for my first couple playthroughs of a new gen + nuzlocke runs, I never ever use the starter.

This way I just get to take a random mon, sometimes even a shitmon, and have it take the position of my starter.
Playthroughs are way more fun when you don't just play the game the same way every time, but actually try and use mons you have never used before.


Pic related is my current bug monotype of HG, and I feel that the split of 4 battle mons and 2 utility mons / slaves is propably the best.
Never understood how people can manage to keep a team of 6 mons relevant throughout a playthrough.
