Lopunny and Medicham can adopt better coverage. Medicham with Zen Headbutt, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, and High Jump Kick with a Pursuit user in the back has limited answers. Kang would still use Fake Out since it's more of a star in Doubles where Fake Out matters more.

All lopunny needs is Fake out and last resort. Skip the bullshit and get straight to the damage. No need for coverage when you can just switch out into the other 5 backup mons(2 in battle spot).

sorry, im behind on news. did mega evolution change so that stats immediately change? why would these pokemon not need fake out / protecr / etc?

Mega Evolution happens before turn order now, e.g. Banette gets priority Destiny Bond turn 1 but Sableye's Will-O-Wisp no longer has priority on the turn he Mega Evolves.
