I stopped playing competitively because I was sick of all eltist and toxic mentality of the competitive battling community. Once you realise just how autistic the entire thing is you get seriously disllusioned. Just look at how many people can no longer catch Pokémon without frantically worrying about natures, base stats and even IVs. Alola has some amazing Pokémon designs but people bash them because all they care about are base stats. Imagine never having the joy of using whatever Pokémon you like and just enjoying the game ever again. That's a risk of smogonfaggotry. Just play casually and trade with friends. Once the games are out I'm avoiding this place like the plague again.
