Are all wild Pokémon in Sun & Moon able to call for help

I've had normal wild Pokemon outside of trial areas call out for help so I would presume that any pokemon except maybe island scan ones can.

You get Type: Null from Gladion in the post game when you find him in the conservation are in the Aether Foundation

How can you tell what abilities the other Pokemon have?

So is it like horde battles but instead of all the Pokemon coming in at once, the Pokemon can call other pokemon to come fight with it, turning it into a double battle of sorts?

I've literally never had it happen to me, so I'm not sure. I mean, obviously, Totem battles, but outside of that, nope. Never happened to me.
