To anyone with an overclocked N3DS, how does SM run for you during Double Battles and Totem Battles?
Might buy a 9.2 XL if it runs it well OC'd.
pls respond

still drops.

Overclocked to 800mhz+?
>>29872440
It runs much better than o3ds, but still drops at times.

Is your N3DS stock or over clocked?
Does OCing help SM further?
>>29872440
Didn't seem much better to me, with OC enabled in Luma, unless I'm doing something wrong

How do double battles feel to you?
That's where slowdown is the worst, I hit like 8-10 fps sometimes
>>29873134
Feels the exact same to me, again, not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I don't see any difference (granted we're talking about story double battles where it's 2 trainers vs 2 trainers, 1 trainer vs 1 trainer double battles seem okay)

overclocked with homebrew

How do double battles feel?
If they never drop below 20fps I'd say that's worth it.
They hit like 10 at times for me.

Smooth most of the time, except when the camera zooms out or Pokémon use attacks with complex animation/effects.
What is most noticeable to me is that on o3DS there are long loading times when leaving battle. Like, both screens stay black for what feels like several seconds.
It runs better with the new Luma3ds 6.6 update. Now it handles the overclock properly.
