Each table is a different set of encounters.
Slot types matter for SOS battles.
You always start an encounter with a pokemon in slot one. If you use an Adrenaline Orb and start a SOS battle, then when the pokemon calls for help, the pokemon that appears is in an equivalent spot on one of the slots, including slot one.

GF didn't lie. It's just that A-Marowak learns Shadow Bone at level 27, yet Cubone evolves at 28. The move relearner is practically at the end of the main game Pokemon Center before E4, so you won't see Shadow Bone until then.

It can't learn Shadow Claw either so in terms of physical STAB, you've got the 50BP Flame Charge. It still gets access to Bonemerang through Cubone and at later levels it has Stomping Tantrum and Flare Blitz. Mine has Lightning Rod for an Ability which makes fighting Electric types a joke.

Looking for information on a few locations that are inaccessible, despite being prominent on the map.

Can't access it through the meadow, the cave in the meadow, Verdant Hill or surfing outside it.

Can access it through Diglett's Tunnel, but it is a flat door, and you can only get to it with Machoke, which is strange as there's nothing else to do there apart from some items on the ground.

It's so large, and lots of golfers are in the resort, but you can't access it, despite the map showing you a path that leads from the Resort. Also at the end is an eclipse carved into the grass, which is odd.

Event island for Magearna, likely, as it's perfectly round, which suggests it's manmade, like Magearna.
>Giant pools left of the Western town on Akala Island
It clearly shows a cave entrance and path leading to a beach. Someone said it's likely Brooklet Hill, but I doubt it by that path leading from the cave.

That's all I can think of, but I'm sure there's more. If I had any faith in GF, I'd say it was potential for Post-Game stuff to be patched in or for events, but it likely won't be,except the Magearna Island.

The only way to get a Salamence at level 10 is by finding a Bagon and waiting for it to call for help. It's extremely rare but that's the trick to it.
