This, though they are a rumor going around that before VGC actually gets here there will be an announcement that legendaries in general, UBs included, will be banned. This would be odd seeing as they put so much attention in the Tapu's field abilities and doubles support.

why would they ban ultra beasts? it's like having a general ban on all legendaries. Most of the non-uber ones are pretty balanced. UBs have good stats and abilities, but only maybe a couple of them will be OP, and even then it remains to be seen if they'll be D/P Garchomp level OP or not.

Ironically, Bravest Bird shits on Pheromosa.

Nobody is going to use Z-Moves competitively because a 1 time strong move or boosting move and losing the ability to use an item is not better than having an item and possibly a viable 4th move depending on what Z-Move you were considering

That's quite good, better than the typical sitrus berry + bdrum, but unless more Z-Moves are so close to being on the verge of legitimately broken, I doubt they'll become too popular, other than that, most of what I've seen is just gimmicky boosts that probably won't hold up in a legitimate battle where checks are a thing

You raise an interesting point, but no. Z- Moves will likely one-shot a threat. It's like having a free "remove one pokemon". It's definitely worth the item slot.
