Lillie was the fucking worst. Zinnia could have been worst but she was only relevant for 30 minute side episode. Lillie was present for much of the whole game, and the PC feels inconsequential. Didn't help that she couldn't do much of anything on her own.

Example, before third gym no one knows what Mega Evolution is even the professor with no books about it. After third gym, there's a temple and entire town dedicated to it.
