Red being in the game proves Ash can't exist in that specific universe. Ash does exist in a different universe, and we know that because of the demo, but until Ash does a backflip out of a wormhole holding a bigass "HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY" sign, we won't see him.

I'm just saying Red and Ash can't be in the same universe, that is unless they do happen to cross through a wormhole which is probably super unlikely.

His Pikachu and Greninja are in the game. The OP has a picture of him. I'm more inclined to believe that a version of Ash exists in the megaverse, but it's not THE Ash. For one, Ash keeps his Gen 1 clothes as seen in the OP.
