New waifus came in, such as tsareena and and salazzle. Lurantis is old.

I plan on running her and ya boi Champod.

I remember when Lurantis hype first started and some thread got made saying "only reason Lurantis is getting waifu'd is because its the first waifu revealed this gen"

They were right.

Lurantis's animations look great and love the design. Not top-waifu tho.

Still don't understand why Lurantis and Tsareena are in the same gen though and not even version exclusives.

Because apperantly Lurantis' stats aren't worth it, I still plan to pick one up though. I really love it's design. Was my favorite before Toxapex was shown though, seems like a winner in all departments.

Honestly Lurantis is a slower Serperior with a snazzy signature move that doesn't support it's abilities at all.
Lurantis gets Contrary as a HA and access to leaf Storm, but that's really about it.

Mono-Grass type
Moveset consists of only Grass and Bug moves
Fucking Leaf Guard, really?
Signature move only works in the sun
Above average attack, average bulk, bad speed.
Too many stats wasted on an unusable Special Attack
Gets Contrary as a Hidden Ability but only Leaf Storm (a special attack) to use it with.
Mechanically a worse Serperior.

Pretty much every Pokémon people were hyped for turned out to be a joke.

Literally just Decidueye with worse Speed.

Yet again Gamefreak shafted grass types. She's basically a worse Serperior so there's no reason to use her unless you really like the design.

Tsareena got shafted too, but at least it was to a lesser extent. It's a shame, because I thought they were two of the best Gen VII designs before we got the games.

Tsareena was so close to being good. It got so much cool stuff like Rapid Spin, Synthesis, huge attack, HJK and Play Rough. Why did it have to be so slow? Those 98 defenses won't help.
