So regarding the defending your champion title?... Is it triggered by just going into e4 again? anyone can confirm/prove?

also is your challenger picked randomly or there's a sequence?

AFAIK you get a random challenger that are named, and have unique designs everytime you clear the E4 past the first time.

Considering that post-game facilities always have an endless supply of trainers that would wreck every champion, it's a nice change of pace for you to not be the only person in the fucking region who actually progresses
