I actually doubled my preorder. Pokemon is stagnating, and if Gamefreak isn't going to make the games more elaborate then they need to start throwing in crazy shit like UBs. Making them "just Pokemon" prevents things from getting too complex while still adding unique designs that go beyond the constraints of traditional Pokemon.

regular balls have a hard time catching them (like a catch rate of 1) but there are specialized balls for catching them

Me. Their reveal is what made me drop the game in the lead-up to release. Finding out how bad the game is afterwards just made me feel better about giving up a franchise I spent years with.

It's not even about the designs. I think they're amazing, both cool + adorable. But they're not Pokemon. And I have no interest in playing a main scenario of POKEMON vs ULTRA BEASTS nor playing competitively and seeing these fuckers in every match. Just my 2 cents.
