In gen 6, speed and priority check happened before mega evolution. Now, speed and priority check happens after mega evo.

So on gen 6, if you mega evolve into super fast Beedrill or Prankster Banette, you still move second because the game decided turn order before mega evolution loaded the new stats and abilities. Now it checks for turn order after mega evolution, so this means MegaBee doesn't have to run Protect anymore to keep it from dying on its slow turn.

A-Ninetails with Snow Warning gets Dual Screens on its first turn. Suddenly all those slow bulky ice types actually have a shot at being useful for a few turns - otherwise there's still Froslass, Weavile, etc.

Instead of getting say...a bonus to defence in Hail, Ice Types get a move that provides BOTH defences.

Why the fuck wasn't Tsareena a fucking Grass/Fighting? That is literally the only thing about it that pisses me off. It's a fucking Grass-type Chun-Li, learns High Jump Kick and its Pokedex entry LITERALLY says that it goes out of its way to protect the weak. Holy shit STAB Hi Jump Kick would have at least been fucking decent on top of being able to learn Synthesis. All it needed was a Fighting sub type and decent speed and it would have been fucking great.
