Nah mimimyu seems like more of the exception, maybe with the fairy type. It seems to genuinely just seek companionship from people and other pokemon. Oh course being a lovecraftian horror wearing a shitty halloween costume makes that difficult. Even then not every ghost types are evil or mean spirited, golurks were said to have acted as protectors.
