I actually meant how terrible the voice acting & dialogue/script & intro would be...can any of them even get any worse at this point? Also frankly I quite enjoy the word choices in XYZ47

In Butch/Cassidy's first few episodes they were arrested and thrown in jail like serious criminals. Then in their following episodes they just started blasting off like comic relief villains and just being left whereever they fell. I think their last scene is arguing with Jessie/James in a big pile of sand/mud or whatever after they fell down from blasting off.

I only watched a bit of BW before I dropped it years ago, why did they drop the serious Team Rocket? They are at their best when they are serious, or at least competent. They took away their personalities in BW, that was shit. There must be a sweet spot that leaves them lovable BUT sufficiently competent to last for more than ten seconds in an episode.

I'm reminded of the S. S. Anne episode in the first season where they successfully organize a mass stealing operation all the while being comedic enough, or when they would at least be smart enough to come prepared for Pikachu and would be defeated because the mon of the week was a surprise for them.

You CAN make them comedic and reasonably competent.
