I used him. He's speedy enough that he can get in a scald/leech life off before swapping into something else. That will be fine until he evolves. His evolved form is tanky as fuck and has a bug 90bp fake out and a great movepool so he can deal a lot of damage before switching out.

Never felt annoyed using him.

Copy pasta from another thread.

1) prepare by having a Pokemon know false swipe/ weak move that won't kill the first corsola. I was finding that it wouldn't call for help if it was at full health.

2) have a second Pokemon that can reliably ohko any other corsolas that are called to help that aren't mareanie. The initial corsola tends to call for help 1-2 turns after the other is killed. It could take a few for you to find mareanie.

3)stock up on potions, balls and adrenaline orbs.

4) go to route 9 and fish on the only available spot until you find a corsola, this part will take you the longest. When you find corsola instantly pop an orb. Then chip away at its health until it calls for help. If it's not mareanie kill whatever was called to help and repeat.


Apparently there is a location on melemele island that grants a 20% chance of finding the corsola/ mareanie combo but I don't know where it is yet. If you want to push your luck you can also do this as soon as you get the rod on any of the fishing nodes around kukuis lab which is 1% chance of finding corsola/ mareanie

I got lucky and found a Corsola on my first try, then used a Adren Orb on it to make it call more often got it to 50% HP and kept killing the Corsola's that came until a Mareanie spawned

Map says there is a move tutor on the first island in the same district as the clothes shop. Where is this move tutor? Can't seem to find it.
