It has less, even less if you overclock the N3DS.
Double battles with weather are literally like 5fps.
If an overclocked N3DS can bring it upto 15fps, I'll take it.

Try a double battle, lots of lag and frame drops.
Worse than triple battles in XY.
Having 4 pokemon and 3 trainers on screen is intensive.
Weather and ailments make it worse.
Also totem aura.
