Everyone's getting all excited... over a Z-Move... that adds up to half of an Extreme Evoboost.

Admittedly Extreme Evoboost is a unique Z-move for Eevee, who is a shitmon, but... Is Z-Conversion really that much of a big deal if it can just be summed up as half of another Z-Move?

Yes? A move that boosts all stats being locked to a shit Pokemon like Eevee makes it utterly useless. A Pokemon like Porygon-Z being able to boost all of its stats is way more useful. Just because it's not a unique effect doesn't mean it's not a big deal.

Also Eviolite wasn't even nerfed.

Honestly, I'm hyped for the stat boosting Z-moves, even the ones that only have the stat boost. It's like having a guaranteed Ancientpower boost on Sylveon. Or Jirachi.

Anyways, yes, Conversion PGZ is now a thing. Most people agree that ghost conversion will be the most useful overall. I think Electric might actually be good in doubles paired with a Politoed or Pelliper because +1 STAB adaptability thunders off base 135 special is fucking retarded considering after a conversion he's also faster than anything short of a base 150.

All stats means acc and evasion too, right? Thats greasy if true.

So whats the best type for porygon? STAB Thunderbolt is nice and leaves you with just one weakness, shadow ball gives you fighting and normal immunity with good coverage, could tech in hidden power for secret meme resistance, even though the damage is shit you could run recover and stuff.

Shadow Ball from what theorymonners are saying. Also I don't think Hidden Power works.

I guess Shadow Ball would be the standard and you'd run hidden power fighting alongside it to beat up mean Bisharps (who can't actually OHKO you with sucker punch at +1)


Also, Porygon-Z is one of my two favorite pokemon, and I'm incredibly glad that the pokemon with Z in its name gets a really neat niche out of Z-moves (I mean, a few other pokemon can do similar things but they don't get the benefit of being Porygon-z)
