Well, it worked on Pokemon Colosseum which is the hardest Pokemon RPG out there, mostly because you can literally only use a limited pool of shitmons.

Reason why Colosseum was hard:
1)Your pool of Pokemon was limited
2)Enemy's pool of Pokemon was not limited and the bosses used actual strategies (like Protect/Levitate + EQ or screwing you over with status ailments)
