Follow this guide to get it working. As a caveat tho if the game still runs super slow, open task manager and go to details. right click Citra, set priority to real time and then set affinity to just one CPU.

the options for the sound is to have it as is or off in the settings, you can try auto but it's the same.
no fix for black lines, this is a new emulator after all it might get updated.

Installation of the .cia keeps failing at the very end for me. I've tried with devmenu and the latest FBI. I'm installing one last time after extracting again (maybe it was corrupted somehow, probably not since it extracted just fine). Not much hope but what else can I do? It doesn't help that installing takes 3 years.

Is it really safe to install this? I installed the Lurantis .cia from 4chan on my 11.2 a9LH CFW 3DS XL, and when I reached the scene in the house, after the scene with Lillie at the start, my game crashed with a 'please turn on the power. an error has occured' message. Then the 3DS wouldn't boot, bascially it got bricked. Was it because of the extra RAM thing? I'm trying with another 3DS later but is this 3DSiso one safe?

I want to make sure my next 3DS doesn't brick...

yea it runs super slow. i turned vsync off and just let my CPU trying beef it's way through. It's inconsistent but mostly;y about 80-110% speed so it's all good. try using all cores with v-sync off

okay guys I need some help here
I tried both .3ds and .cci and both seem to work just fine on citra, except the only thing I get is a gray screen for both sun and moon. It's most likely citra's fault and not the games' but I want to see what I'm playing for fucks sake. Already tried pretty much every option available, nothing fixes it. Should I redownload/install citra or is there another solution?

No matter how good your CPU and GPU are, the emulator runs like shit, especially with the sound on. I have an i7-6700k with a GTX 1060 and 16gb of RAM and I still can't get stable frame rates with the sound enabled, even in a million different Citra builds.

... however, you might be able to run it decently well with an i3-6100 or similar and a dedicated GPU instead of Inter HD Graphics.

The overworld gets much more bearable once you get the tauros ride. The speed makes up for the low frame rate

Just overclocked to 4.3ghz. Battles are quick as fuck without Vsync. Another .3 or .4 would have the game running flawlessly.

It depends on your setup. On my comp it does absolutely nothing to the framerate one way or the other but it fucks up the sound real bad. Just try it, you can always just change it back.
