I need help picking my water type pokemon for my Moon team.
I'm really disappointed with the water types of this gen since they'rec all too slow.
Here's what I'm planning to use.
>Decidueye
>Salazzle
>Mudsdale
>Vikavolt
>Drampa
I won't use Golisopod since i'm using Vikavolt on my team, would prefer no type over laying.
I'd prefer using only Alolan mons.
so thoughts on Wishiwashi, Bruxish, or Tapu Fini?
I usually prefer not to use legendaries but are the Tapus technically legendaries?
Do you actually need a water type though? You have a grass type and a ground type. Between them, you have everything water offered coverage on. Its not like you need a surfer this gen.

I'm this guy again.
If it doesn't break your Alolan mons rule, I would suggest using Alolan Ninetales instead of a water type. You have neither ice nor fairy yet, and both types can offer some coverage you don't have here already, as well as gives you a solid dragon counter that isn't afraid of faster dragons.

it feels weird not having a water type at all.

Hi OP, you are just like me a few day ago. I'm planning my team knowing that HM are gone, thou my core will always be Water/Fire/Grass/Electric/Ground/else.
Surprisingly, I chose nearly every mon you chose: Decidueye, Salazzle, Vikavolt, Mudsdale and Passimian. Questioning myself over a water type, I've reached the conclusion that WISHIWASHI will be the perfect choice.
>no type repetitions
>mixed attacker, same as Decidueye, wich combines well with two physical (Mudsdale and Passimian) and two special (Vikavolt and Salazzle).
Plus, it's a fucking Sea Demon.
