I had cfw, I was playing moon via a dump I made from a cartridge I got through my job, clever anons noticed I messed up and they could tell because I forgot to include the manual in the .3ds I made...

I pirated Sun moon, but bought Y and OR, I modded my Wii the day I got it but I still bought around 10 games on disc for it, and so on. I have not lately bought games for Wii U or 3DS because I really do not have the income to do so as I did before. I own just about all Wii U games that matter on disc, or did buy them digitally. Did pirate Project Zero though. Would be lying if I said I did not love the recent method for installing games into Wii U console's USB drive making them legit, with online features and all.

I've dumped the RAM with NTR while playing and found the value for the castle's points (the ones you can use to EV train).
The dump file is 16mb, but the plugin's page says that it dumps from 0x0 to 0x20000000. I guess it just skipped the unused memory regions.

Question is. now that I know that that value is stored in 0xEF1475 in the RAM dump, how do I find the actual address while the game is running?

I realize this is a roundabout way to do things but connecting the actual debugger seems to freeze the game, so I'd rather just dump the whole memory and search through it comfortably with cheat engine.

If you install a9lh using the guide at https://plailect.github.io/Guide/
you have a zero percent chance of bricking as long as you can read.
With a9lh you can updatge to the newest system firmware and use the eshop and play online just fine. There's litrerally no downside and the hack can be undone by removing your sd card.

.3ds contains header files and cart IDs. These can easily be removed with d9, and you can even remove cartridge save areas for Cart2 saves. It's completely easy to gain anonymity with .3ds dumps and he's done his first playthrough entirely with Gateway, using his .3ds file.
