So we're all agreed that Ash's Kalos League run was the most boring one yet?
>1. Orange League (it was just one battle but it spanned multiple episodes and featured many of the best Pokemon existing at the time)
>2. Sinnoh League (Excellent main rival battle and featuring a trainer with legendary pokemon destory Ash just showed how far HE was from his ultimate goal)
>3. Indigo League (Featured 4 battles shown in full, creative ending)
>4. Jhoto League (Excellent rival battle)
POWER GAP
>5. Hoenn league (Meowth in boots)
>6. Unnova league (Ash got beat by an idiot who only bought 5 pokemon to a 6v6 fight)
>7. Kalos league (Skipped straight to the semis, no surprises)
It was.
I wish Ash battled Barry back in the DP League and had him as a runner up then.
But I guess someone had to be fodder for Paul.

Why Barry?
>>29782070
Absolutely
Even the idiot with 5 Pokemon made for a more entertaining fight

I don't remember but id Ash and Barry ever have a proper final battle? Would have been neat.
The writers could have had Ash faced all his rivals from Sinnoh and lose to Tobias in the top 2. Oh well.

ehr Indigo League only showed 3 battles in full
and the last one was pretty trashy
the Kingler and Muk matches were hype as fuck though
Hoenn League at least had this girl

>ehr Indigo League only showed 3 battles in full
Those were all the battles Ash had from the beginning of the tournament up to facing Ritchie

I think it's supposed to be a bitter defeat that ash finished in the top 4 even though the other guy who went to the finals and lost to Tobias was weaker than him, unable to even defeat Darkrai
So Ash SHOULD have been runnerup based on his skill level
