Any tcg player help me out? I pulled this out of a sceptile tin. It came with weird ink marks and smudges. What should I do? Does this make the card completely useless? Or is it a factory defect rare? Should I call the TGC company? What could they do?
Honestly I'm so pissed off because when I pulled this I was so fuckig excited then I saw all those ink smudges. Hands were obviously clean, no ink in sight. The card was in my hand for literally 5 seconds before it went into a sleeve and top loader
I'll post a few close ups of the smudges

This is the worst one. It's like a thick ink line. It's not dented in, it's more of a thick ink streak

It's in good condition just not the usual Near Mint that you would expect from opening a pack. But hey, you just got $25 dollars, those things are easy to move even if not in perfect condition.

This is a bootleg card, the tin you bought was not legitimate.
You can still use this for legitimate play or whatever but as a collectible it's worthless.

It's not bootleg..... it came with a working TGC code

>those smudges
Holy fuck I'm triggered, how did they let this happen
It looks like a misprint. There are TCG players who seek them out and collect them. It MAY be tournament legal but maybe not. When I played a couple years ago VS Seeker was a valuable card, do some research and my guess is that it could be worth $20+

It is no secret that the quality of production of the tcg sucks, did you miss all the people with misprints last week after the prereleases?

no fucking clue man, i'm fucking pissed though. beautiful card, but it's completely ruined by those ink streaks and smudges.

they go for $25-$30 bucks, but idk if my card is worth anything with those defects
