I almost lost to the first trial captain. Only had two mons and wasn't expecting his ace to have perfect starter coverage.

Most of the trainers seem to only have one pokemon, but I'm optimistic about the boss battles. Gonna see how hard the game is without exp share since the leaker said it was challenging for him with it on.

I have Exp Share on and I battle every trainer and wild Pokemon I come up against. Explore every nook and cranny. I'm about 2-3 levels above most Pokemon from trainers.

it's comparable to the difficulty of games like Platinum. Definitely harder than Gen 6, but still easy.
