Talonflame wasn't just nerfed, it was destroyed. Even disregarding the new moves and abilities that block priority, its own primary move prevents it from taking advantage of Gale Wings more than once. Fucking brutal.

Gengar is one of my most used mons through recent years. Loss of Levitate is awful, but at least its primary purpose isn't gutted. Mega still exists, too.

I'm afraid to ask what happened to poor Quagsire.

Only a few of the boosts are good like the Leech Life and Masquerain's.
Most of the boosts don't really do anything like the +10/20 stat boosts.
Practically all of the nerfs destroy the pokemon instead of balancing them. Most of the pokemon destroyed weren't even that good to begin with.

I don't know about you but I know very well how to feel: as if a mentally challenged person just slapped me in the face with a hand covered in shit and I all I could do about it is to resign and tell his apologizing mother/guardian to not worry.

I don't mind all the shit they introduced to counter it this gen, it was all perfectly reasonable and priority really was too prevalent last gen, but destroying its ability was just kicking it while it was already down and stomping it into the dirt.
I'm sure some people are rejoicing, but this just shows that GF still can't balance this game properly, not that anyone ever thought they could.

I was pretty excited when I woke up and started seeing all the new stuff but as I saw more and more stuff the hype grew slightly less and hit and all time low when I saw how they completely murdered Talonflame.

Basically unaware only activates when the pokemon with it is attacking.
It no longer negates the opponents attack boosts.

Talonflame and Quagsire took a really big hit today. I'm not sure about Gengar without levitate, but people say it could barely hold on OU nowadays.

At this point all I hope is that the eviolite huge nerf rumor is not true, god dammit I'm scared about it.
