Honestly I think he's gonna be ok. Stats are not terrible, attack is high and bulk is decent, and he has access to several priority moves to compensate for his low speed including a bug type extreme speed.

His ability is probably going to be a bad thing in general but in some situations it might actually help.

I was thinking that it basically turns every one of his attacks into "U-Turn" under Tricky Room.

I wonder if anyone can come up with a strategy which involves this guy's ability. Might need to do a damage check on fire moves see if he can get OHKOed easily. If yes, give him sash, no give him scarf or something. Baton pass setup into him, proceed to sweep, HP below 50%, switch out. Continue to battle without him until last 3 mons. Use Healing Wish and switch him back in. You should have no more reserves at this point. Proceed with sweeping again.

Dunno how well this will work.
