If you ignore the people complaining about slow Pokemon, it's looking like a pretty good 8/10

Solid 3. Everything is fat and slow, or if its fast has paper thin defenses and shitty movepools. Tons of old mons got nerfs for no reason, and the ones that did get buffed didn't get anything to make it over the edge and actually good. Save your money for Dishonored 2.

7/10. Better than Gen 6, worse than 4 and 5.

I'm legit salty about the trainers picked for Battle tree, the fact that they gave a excuse to show Anabel yet nothing on frontier and how neither Red or Blue uses a mega or a Z-move.

Like, really? I wasn't expecting a PWT but at least put the other champions, or put 2 of each region. Fucking BW2 look like a better anniversary game, and I don't even like Gen 5.

Read the text dumps going around and see for yourself. Regardless, S/M kicked bar for character/environment/sound/world/narrative design quality so high that its ass is still going to be smoking on the 18th.

It might not be perfect, but it was a necessary step for the series to take in the same way transitioning to 3D models was. Don't let /vp/ piss enough to talk you out of trying it for yourself; I had such a good time that I'm dropping the game until I can actually buy it myself.

Solid 2/10. And that two is just out of generosity.
Saw the entire dex leak. Read the story. Looked at the battle teams. Heard the music. Saw the trainer models.
Everything is bad. Actually, the only thing that might have saved it from being a 1 are the opponent teams. Those are decent. I'm calling it now, gen 7 was a mistake.
