Dropped Primarina and Lurantis for a better water and grass type respectively. Also dropped Baile Oricario for something that can actually learn some fire moves.

Most excited to use Toxapex because no mercy.

I kept my main trio of Decidueye/Lycanrock/Bewear the whole time, but was really undecided about the other 3 spots and cycled through a lot of ideas like Mimikyu, Wishiwashi, Muk, Drampa, Baile Oricorio, Kommo-o etc. I was even considering using all starters at one point because I like all 3, but I would have felt like a gigantic faggot for using all in one team.
In the end I ended up with this team which fits all of my autistic criteria (no type repeats, all new mons, not more than two Alola forms) and feels like I can get an okay coverage with it.

At first, my team was: (empty space), Scizor, Mimikyu, Decidueye, Mega Sableye, and Mega Gyarados. I was hoping that both Decidueye and Mimikyu to be Special attackers, but Decidueye turned to be Grass/Ghost and Physical, and Mimikyu to be Physical too but with very low Defense (and that I had THREE FUCKING GHOSTS)

I'm so fucking pumped for this mono type run.
its a great gen to be a ghost fan.

Still Primarina, Bewear, Tsareena, Vikavolt, Oricorio, and a wildcard slot because there's pretty much nothing else I want to use that doesn't have overlapping types.

It's in-game, stats don't really matter, even with endgame fights having perfect IVs and good EV spreads. Though I know when I hit post-game I'll be breeding a good Ribombee ASAP.

I'm definitely dropping Oricorio. Its one stab move is revelation dance and it only learns that at late levels. That is pathetic and not fun even for an in-game pokemon.

He doesn't show up until the 4th island, which means he's a late game addition to any team at best. Wild encounter levels put him at 41-44 which means you're probably stuck with a subpar moveset unless you TM or Relearn the shit out of him.

This whole journey has been hard for me. Like, REALLY hard. So many Pokémon I wanted to use but couldn't justify for various reasons. Type overlap, shit stats fuck this gen's low speed fetish, version exclusivity. But, after much deliberation, I think I'm finally decided on what to do.

The biggest change? I've switched over to Sun for my main game. I've been on team Moon since day 1, but Turtonator has become the final nail in that coffin.
