I have lost any hope for the future of this game. I would have stopped playing after about a month and a half, but this is the first game my wife has enjoyed playing with me. told her about the new update and how I had tested new gym battling amounts. She laughed and said she's done playing. I guess this update was their best so far in a way. It finally made us realize how shallow the content is, and for that, I'm grateful to niantic. It's just normal bitching about how Niantic doesn't know what they are doing and how sick of it they are. They had organized raids going on so they would converge on a section of town, down a gym, bubble it up, use an alt to strip the bubble, and post FREE DEPOSIT HERE YO on facebook and it would be level 10 reinforced in an hour or so.

They were just really comfy about it and now half the gyms are gone overnight so they are ragequitting. The autismo rage isn't any different than /r/pokemongo every day. I'm not posting my facebook on this site

In my case I have been leveling up gyms for a months but now spoofers are back strong while Mystic seems to lack them.

Late at night a lvl 9 mystic gym with one slot open and only 2000 prestige from becoming lvl 10 stayed like that until morning because nobody spoofed to claim a spot there meanwhile a Mystic gym in a place that gets inaccessible after 10pm got taken down at 1am

Having gotten the perfect Primape moveset I can assure you that they're still fucking worthless and do not have high attack.

Seed Bomb trees are actually pretty good defensively because of how fast they can shoot it. Same with Bite/Twister AngrySnake, Twister is insanely obnoxious to dodge and they can fire it constantly.

No, I don't. In fact I have never seen a Lapras and a higher level than me thought the only way to get one is from eggs. I have only one useful Dragonite that I walked to evolve and I'm currently walking to power up (the other is a lvl 1 one and would require absurd amounts of candy and dust to power up) Also just got my third Snorlax, it is the highest CP one (1771) and lowes IV, so low that it would be bellow my vaporeons CP if I power it up.

Did they remove the pokestop speed limit already? Had class in the morning and none of the pokestops on the way worked, now had a class at night and on the way back all the pokestops were working.

obviously you're not going to sit at the top of gyms but thats a problem with the game design, not your pokemon
if all you want is the highest cp mons to sit in gyms then keep walking that dragonite, but you're facing an uphill battle that just doesn't support team play anyway
I recommend just walking the pokemon you like, one day when they fix the gym order system (if they do) you'll have some funner pokemon to put in

think of it from the perspective of your pokemons level, not yours
from level 1-30 your pokemon powers up at the same rate
from level 30-40 its halved
so if you get ~+50 cp on your dragonite while its level 1-30, powering up from 30-40 only gives 25 each power up (the real values are rounded slightly differently)

when you're level 29 you can power your pokemon to 30.5, so thats when you hit the soft cap

yesterday a victreebel never showed on my sightings at all, while it was actually active for more than 15 minutes during the time
today a dragonite popped up on sightings at home, then disappeared off sightings for good while I ran around like a headless chook for 10 minutes and finally found it by checking all the common spawn points nearby, and it STILL didn't show back up on sightings when I was right next to it
the majority of the time for both of them I was within 200m, and they just refused to return to the sightings list
there was space for them both times
It's been happening heaps to me

They should've just increased rewards for taking down level 10 gyms. Perhaps give out stardust for reaching the leader, scaling according to the amount of Pokémon in a gym (eg you get 1000 stardust if you take out all Pokémon in a lv10 gym, 800 if it's lv9, 600 if it's lv8, 500 if lv7, 300 if lv6, 150 if lv5 and maybe like 50 if it's below that). You're spending time and probably also a shitton of items, just reward that, man.

I agree, if they'd left the previous values for prestiging and just upped the rate at which they can be beaten then gym stagnation wouldn't be an issue.

nah if you factor the ~2 seconds (I think it actually ranges between 1.5 to 2 randomly) then twister ends up twice as strong as bite if used constantly

the vaporeon, gyara, victree and ninetales are all maxed (level 31.5)
