Considered Nintendo World, but like you said it'll be a zoo. Haven't even heard official details about a launch party either.

I'll be a few towns from where I live: preordered Sun at a GameStop in Rockville Center, NY and will be there at midnight. Comments to work and the first few hours where I don't teach classes on Friday will be Alola time.

For once, I'm glad I live in the middle of Fuck All nowhere. When I went to pick up my X version there were about 10 people who went to walmart to get it at midnight, and I'm not expecting the turnout to be much bigger this time around.

Local GameStop in Austin hasn't called me confirming midnight release yet. I hope they do it.

Instead I got it from Amazon, which I'm fine with though, I got $40 off and I can wait that extra 10 hours.

I'll be that one shady-looking motherfucker standing outside my local library to unlock my Pokemon Moon version.

We should make a game of it: hunt for all the people loitering outside a hotspot at buttfuck'o'clock in the morning, downloading S/M, then post our findings online like we found a cryptid or something.
