I've never caught them all. The shittiness of Gen 6 killed my motivation to do so. I've almost completed the national dex in Platinum, though. Also, I plan to try again in SM.

I've been playing since Gen 1, but I'm not particularly good at pokemon. I understand the basic concepts to be good at pokemon, but cannot find the fucks to give about competitive and it's fucking awful playerbase.

I don't play pokemon games because I think they're fun. I play them because they are, almost certainly, casual as fuck and it's nice to just be able to do something simple and repetitive for a while without being forced to deal with the other shitheads who play the game all the time like most other competitive games.

I think all pokemon should have a cap of 3 maxed IVs, with the other 3 having shit scores. All this "5/6 IVs" bullshit is boring and one of the biggest problems I've found in the competitive scene, leading to shit like hacking or mindless autism to make the "perfect pokemon".

I've caught em all except for Meloetta and December can't come soon enough

I've only been able to finally complete the national dex now in Gen 6 and I'm never planning to do that ever again now with most on the mons in Pokebank, I'll just breed the ones I have for there pre-evos to get the Shiny/Oval charm, this was literally the only reason why I bothered to even complete it. I'm also not planning on making a living dex since it's just to much effort and I'll have to die first to even try to make a shiny living dex. It's just not worth it
