Frogadier and Torracat are both worse than their evolutions.

I don't care for Froakie line but Greninja is ok.

I like all 3 of the Litten line but Torracat is my least favorite between them.

Use Eviolite Sligoo

Blastoise is great, a superb design, but unfortunately has a really terrible 3D model currently. Sadly we're stuck with it for some time now. I think the consensus is more that Venusaur makes a hash of a great line by turning two really dynamic designs into a fat slob.

Oddly enough, dragonite never bothered me either. I quite like it actually, and in fact if you look at the early artwork and sprites you can see that there is actually a logical progression from Dragonair to Dragonite. Like how Pikachu also used to resemble Raichu more closely.

Blastoise is a good design but itself but it really feels disconnected from Squirtle and Wartortle. It's like going from Graveler to Golem.
