I think I. Red some gym tips for holding them, aside from immassing a crew. Say I come upon a level 3 enemy gym, take it down, what do I defend with for success? Do I put I like a 2k fire dog and train it up with a 1k vape ? And if so to what level? Do I drop a lax or lap immediately to establish dominance? Is it highly random and variable of my team activity (this probably)

Just evolved my first ever Venusaur (thanks Halloween event) with a CP of 1450 and 93% iv. It knows Razor Leaf and Petal Blizzard.

Bulbasaurs are super rare here, but I could take him as a buddy to power him up.
Now my question: Do you think it's worth powering it up? Or should I just wait and hope for one to magically appear in the wild?
The moveset is not the best, so I wondered whether you guys would do it

Spawns seemed to have changed for me too, I saw three Paris' in a row around my house while drifting (not rare, but strange to see), and checking out FPM, there was a Magnemite at the end of my street, which I've never seen at my part of town.

Got my dex up from 100 to 109, took a heft chunk out of earth/ghost/psychic medals, bought a bunch of incubators and enjoyed 10km+ walks almost every day. Caught the Vaporeon and Clefairy in the wild fully evolved when I was at early levels and stuck with them, Vaporeon has Water Gun/Hydro Pump combo
Flareon is an okay glass cannon but can't really last outside of just one 1vs1
Only just got Polywrath recently due to the event but he's been superb at attacking, as with Vileplume and Arcanine
Haven't battled with Charizard yet but I can't wait to use that Wing Attack/Fire Blast combo

To me it is the best Vaporeon possible.

In terms of Damage per energy it causes as much damage as HP with a little less damage per second but with HP you probably will have many situations when you refrain of using it waiting the opponent to use its charge attack first so you can dodge it so HP end up with a lower damage per second than AT unless you charge it and use it right away not caring about damage received while AT you can charge one bar and shoot it right away before the enemy have time to charge a more powerful attack them you can wait the opponent to use its charge attack, dodge it and use it again on it.

In the defense both AP and HP the enemy Vaporeon will stay still before initiating the attack animation while AT there is just a little jump as warning so in practice you have less time to prepare yourself against a vaporeon with AT.
