I like all three starters but to be honest I'm a bit dissapointed that they didn't turn out to have split evos in the end. It would have been interesting, plus it'd have added more variety and replaying value.

A starter having an evolution isn't a secret, it's an expectation. Don't be dumb.

I'll be frank, while exclusive evolution isn't exactly something I want, I still feel that it's kinda of a waste to give it to one, and ONLY one Pokemon.

Same thing with Alolan forms and the fact only gen 1 'mon gets it.

I mean, if they are testing water, they should at least give them to any other Pokemon. Having one sample makes for a very poor judgment.
