Kalos was the most unorganized region. The snowy routes' placement made no sense, and the 3 different Pokedexes were useless. Breeding mechanics was the only good thing XY introduced.

Of course I will, I'll finally get my shit together and try to catch 'em all, so I'll be returning to these games regularly next year.

I mean, they seemed to have gone into detail with the mons and the region. Compared to other places we have a lot more borrowing from the local lore and naming schemes for characters, pokemon, and even locations. I've actually been surprised how in depth some of the stuff is. I was expecting generic tropical paradise beach episode. I mean we got that, but we also got a lot more along with it.

Running around identical looking islands talking to identical looking NPCs while listening to identical sounding music just to get the next mini-scenario storyline wasn't too exciting for me. Unlocked job system but just got bored regardless, and also too hyped for Sun & Moon.

I loved DQ8 and 5 but 7 didn't do it for me. Gonna finish it some day though.
