When will GF rearrange the national pokedex so that someone like Porygon can still be #137, but Porygon2 is now #138 instead of #233 and so forth?
they arent making new evos for more old mons anymore anyway

I wouldn't be so sure they'd never evolve old pokemon. The order for a dex like that would likely change every game if you did something like that. It would probably be more practical to create some sort of dewy decimal system type deal, but I'm not nearly autistic enough

Technically, the order HAS changed every game...for the regional dex. The National Dex is more a legacy numbering at this point.

Because the point of the National Dex is consistent organization. It does not change. You always know where to find what you're looking for.
What you're asking for is what the regional dex is in every generation. Pokemon organized by family and location. It's a relative dex.
