The change to full character models screws any chance of going to Kalos. It would require a lot of work to scale the world and adapt it to a gridless engine

I hate XY and Kalos. Just saying it's mire plausible than fucking Kanto.

We are never having Kanto+Johto again. Those are two very similar regions, with very little chances of them looking different. E.g. Ilex Forest and Viridian Forest would look the fucking same? If you haven't noticed, every place in Kalos (bar a couple close routes with similar graphics) and Alola are trying to be as unique as possible.

We are not getting a postgame region again. That's a lot of work that they are instead devoting to the main game, something I approve of, no matter how much Id like to see Kanto or Kalos redeemed. I do expect a Kanto reboot on the NX, however. Fucking genwunners.

No Kanto, no Kalos, not even other fancy facilities likee Frontier or PWT. All the battle intros leaked and there's no specials for gyms or other elite 4 than Alola's

Besides gyms are unlikely anyway because there's no intros for gyms in Alola either plus why would you need to prove yourelf in gyms when you beat trials already The empty lots are most likely some sort of secret base feature
