If by ALWAYS you mean very fucking rarely then sure. I think the only time I've heard him say something like that is when he's explained how he didn't play any Pokemon games between Red/Blue and Y/X, and not having played Battlefield games properly since Bad Company 2.

That's basically the only instance I can think of discussion like that in the last few years since I've started watching.

He worked at a dead end job back then and literally hated his life.

But I liked how comfy the stream was back then because all streamers streamed at the same account and 300-400 viewers was the norm so it felt more like a community. But Pokemon streams were also banned back then because Vinny was (is) a hipster faggot and nuzlocke streams were too popular back then.

Vinny used to complain about being single, despite being a rather good looking guy. I guess personality really fucking matters.

Yeah but back in the day mods would ban people for just bringing up youtubers in general on other boards. It was advertising for people who drew a source of revenue which was a big no no in Moot's eyes. They have lightened up about though.

Also, the rule is fuzzy in regards to that, because it implies that you shouldn't try to advertise a streamer. It isn't clear as to whether or not just talking about them is bannable.

Janitors just delete threads dedicated to it now. It's sort of a grey area.

I want it to be alive, but not when most of the traffic comes from furry and cropped porn threads, instead of threads dedicated to actually playing the games.

In a perfect world /vp/ would have active threads of trading, battling, weekly events, nuzlocking, etc. These threads exist, but they are extremely slow compared to the above shit.
