ORAS proved that they can spoil everything and the game will still print money.

But honestly Sun and Moon have the weakest box art legendaries to me. For being creatures that are the visual representation of the Sun and Moon, they feel pretty lackluster. I would expect them to be a bit more surreal-looking than just a metalic-looking lion and bat. Something like Cresselia

I think it's a good decision considering the gendered appearances of the starters. Yes blah blah projecting gender onto Pokemon blah blah kid's game keep gender out of it blah blah fag whatever.

But if you're a kid and you wanted to pick Popplio but you don't want a seal with a ponytail, eyelashes, and pink colors... you can pick a different starter. Similarly, if you wanted the cat because you thought cats were cute and you don't like its final evolution, you can pick one of the other two.

Which, same goes for adults. But I think it's more important for the kids who use trainer customization and teambuilding as an extension of their personalities/growing senses of self/identity. To that end, revealing the starters' final evolutions is a great idea.

Plus, grass/ghost hype boomerang has been thrown.
